Typically working to a quarterly cycle, we’ll start by facilitating a regular planning session with you.
This is where we all sit down together and work through your short term priorities, products, audiences, and the creative execution. This is part workshop, part brainstorm, part requirements gathering.
The clearer we all leave this meeting, the more purposeful and structured your social execution inevitably becomes. Out of this we’ll produce a content plan. This is a stripped back content calendar with mockups and concepts that give you a visual representation of what your feed will look like. Once we’ve gone through this together and are in agreement on the direction, we move into content creation.
This is where the fun starts, whether it’s working with our videography and photography team to produce assets, building out designed pieces using your content library and stock, or engaging with the community to leverage user generated content (UGC), this is where we’ll start building the assets.
For some of our larger clients, this often means a quarterly (or as frequently as monthly) on-location shoot to capture all of the material required for the following month, for others this becomes a more lean approach, designing with existing assets to produce creative that drives engagement. We’re even partial to a meme or two when it makes sense!

Once a content calendar is approved we move into distribution. Distribution involves the organic scheduling or posting of content across all channels. We’re not generally big advocates of utilising 3rd party scheduling tools unless it’s mission critical (let’s just say we’ve seen too many get burned in the past) - Fortunately most of the social channels have made scheduling natively pretty easy these days, and for those who don’t, we jump in and post when the time is right.
As part of our distribution efforts, we typically allocate paid budget behind each post. Imagine spending $900 to produce a piece of creative that only reaches 200 people. To reduce this risk and ensure you’re getting bang for buck, we’ll recommend paid spend where it makes sense. This ensures your content reaches the right audience every time.
04 Monitoring & reporting
The gold in social growth happens after the first 3 months. It’s at this stage that we have a substantial volume of live content, and have captured per-post insights, helping us narrow focus and have the validated insights to become even more relevant to all of your key audiences.
The live dashboards we build for our clients are truly best-in-class, leaving no insight uncovered.
Oh and don’t worry, we know how much of a burden monitoring social media channels is - our teams check-in on all of our client accounts daily, so if a post is getting any attention online, we’ll typically know before you do and report back to you on recommended next steps.
